On June 23, DASCO Co., Ltd. held a plaque presentation ceremony for companies selected for the “Jump-Up Program,” an initiative promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME). The ceremony took place at DASCO’s headquarters with the attendance of Ji-woo Lee, Director of the Busan Regional Headquarters of KOSME.
The event was attended by Chairman Geun-young Lee and CEO Sang-gyu Lee of DASCO Co., Ltd. Along with the plaque presentation and a commemorative photo session, the attendees shared insights on the company’s growth strategy and future development directions.
The “Jump-Up Program” is a scale-up support project designed to intensively nurture promising small, medium, and mid-sized enterprises with over seven years of operation that possess the capability to enter new businesses and global markets. Over a three-year period, selected companies receive an array of linked government support programs, including growth strategy consulting by private experts, open vouchers, investment attraction, networking for global market expansion, policy funds, research and development (R&D), and export support.
Since its establishment in 2000, DASCO Co., Ltd. has grown into a leading specialist in heat exchangers for the plant, energy, and shipbuilding & marine industries. The company develops and supplies various heat exchangers and cooling systems applied to LNG, hydrogen, and eco-friendly energy sectors. In particular, in line with the recent expansion of the hydrogen and renewable energy markets, DASCO is expanding its footprint in the global market by focusing on the development of high-efficiency heat exchanger technologies and next-generation cooling solutions.
Through its selection for the Jump-Up Program, DASCO plans to further accelerate technological innovation and business diversification to secure future growth engines. Specifically, the company aims to aggressively pursue new product development and overseas market pioneering targeting the eco-friendly energy and global plant sectors, leaping forward as a globally competitive “hidden champion.”
Ji-woo Lee, Director of KOSME’s Busan Regional Headquarters, who attended the ceremony, stated, “We highly value DASCO’s excellent technological prowess and growth potential.
